About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading provider of housing solutions and support services for individuals with disabilities. They are currently seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead their housing programs and ensure the highest quality of care and services for their residents. The Operations Director is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the housing programs for individuals with disabilities. This role will involve managing staff, maintaining the physical facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a supportive and inclusive community for the residents.
The annual base salary range is $65,000 to $75,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the well-being and quality of life of residents
- Collaborate with program managers to set performance goals and standards for staff
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and make adjustments as needed for continuous improvement
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of housing coordinators, support staff, and maintenance personnel
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and development
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and funding requirements
- Prepare and submit regular reports to regulatory agencies and funding sources
- Develop and manage the annual program budget, ensuring financial stability and efficient resource allocation
- Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of care and support for residents
- Address any identified areas of improvement promptly and effectively
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders
- Promote a sense of community and inclusion through resident activities and engagement opportunities
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of housing facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Coordinate necessary repairs and improvements
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a director-level position required
- Previous relevant experience required
- Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and best practices in disability services
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis
