About the Opportunity
We are currently in search of a skilled Clinician to join our client’s dedicated team Westchester, New York. The right individual in this role will be bilingual in Spanish, and will play a crucial role in providing immediate mental health and substance abuse support to their patients.
The annual base salary range is $50,000 to $75,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide mental health assessment, intervention, and support to individuals in distress
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status, safety, and risk factors to determine appropriate interventions and level of care required
- Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance professional development and stay updated on best practices in substance abuse treatment and mental health care
- Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines, maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive support for clients
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling required
- LMSW or LMHC license required
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, crisis assessment, and evidence-based intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport quickly and build trust with individuals in crisis
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make sound decisions
- Must speak fluent Spanish
