About the Opportunity:
Work collaboratively with the dentist to address patients' oral health needs in the role of a Dental Hygienist. Provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction within a team-based environment while managing various clinical duties essential to dental office operations. Maintain exceptional customer service skills and a strong commitment to cooperation with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and fellow team members. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education as per state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants and remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policies, including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Order and maintain inventory as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a current state-issued Dental Hygiene license.
- CPR certification and X-ray training or certification.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Experience with GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
