About the Opportunity:
This part-time contract position in the Cardiology Clinic involves providing comprehensive care to adults. You conduct rounding and admissions while managing general cardiology needs, such as cardioversions and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), performing approximately 2-4 TEE's per shift. You address gaps in coverage within the hospital and clinic settings. The estimated base pay for these positions are $277.20 to $327.60 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting electrophysiology procedures, including a full spectrum from pacemakers to ablations.
- Providing general cardiology care and procedures, including cardioversions and TEE's.
- Collaborating with support staff and advanced practice clinicians (APCs) for patient care coordination.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress in the EMR system EPIC.
- Staying informed on developments in cardiology to provide optimal patient care.
Job Requirements:
- MD or DO with relevant specialization in Cardiology.
- ACLS, BLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 100 electrophysiology cases performed in the last 24 months.
- Licensed in WA or eligible for IMLC with willingness to obtain license if not currently held.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR system.
