About the Opportunity:
This opportunity for a physician in a cardiology clinic involves providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients. The role includes both general cardiology and electrophysiology services, covering a hospital and clinic setting, and requires hospital privileges. This is a part-time contract position focusing on the adult demographic. Rounding, admissions, and a broad range of procedures including pacemakers, ablations, cardioversions, and TEE's are part of the job responsibilities.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $274.31 to $324.19 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting full spectrum electrophysiology procedures from pacemakers to ablations.
- Providing general cardiology procedures including cardioversions and TEE's.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive cardiovascular care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress in the EMR system, EPIC.
- Staying informed on current research and practices in cardiology.
Job Requirements:
- MD/DO degree in Cardiology.
- Current WA license or eligibility to get licensed (IMLC accepted).
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Documented clinical activity in cardiovascular disease services in the last 24 months.
- Minimum of 100 electrophysiology cases in the last 24 months for EP role.
