About the Opportunity:
This position provides gastroenterology care with a focus on ERCP to adult patients in an inpatient setting. It involves rounding, new consults, and performing procedures, with an average of approximately 10 patients per day. The chosen physician serves as the sole inpatient GI provider, collaborating with specialty consultants and outpatient GI colleagues for workflow support. This is a locum tenens, full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $340.56 to $402.48 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting gastrointestinal assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing advanced endoscopic procedures, including ERCP.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
Job Requirements:
- MD/DO with current approval through 4/1/27 for gastroenterology.
- At least 2 years of experience in gastroenterology.
- Required clinical activity in the last 24 months (provide case logs).
- ACLS certification.
- Experience with Epic EMR.
- COVID-19 vaccination required, no exemptions.
