About the Opportunity:
This opportunity involves providing specialized care in gastroenterology, focusing primarily on ERCP procedures, although strong non-ERCP candidates are considered. It is a full-time contract position set in a hospital environment, requiring inpatient rounding, new consults, and performing necessary procedures for adult patients. The estimated patient volume is approximately 14 patients per day.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $337.01 to $398.29 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting inpatient rounds and handling new consultations.
- Performing ERCP and other gastroenterological procedures.
- Collaborating with specialty consultants and outpatient GI colleagues.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Current ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar settings.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system required.
- Provision of gastroenterology services documented over the last 24 months.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
