About the Opportunity:
Physicians provide comprehensive behavioral health services to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This full-time contract position involves contributing to patient care by conducting rounds, admissions, and discharges within a hospital setting and at a nearby clinic. Physicians hold both clinic and hospital privileges and manage a daily average of 12-14 patients.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $171.60 to $202.80 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for behavioral health patients.
- Provide therapy and education tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately in the EMR system.
- Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in behavioral health.
Job Requirements:
- MD/DO with an active WA license.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
- Proficiency with the EPIC charting system.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
