About the Opportunity:
This contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Urology at a facility in New York, NY, involves delivering patient care, assessing and evaluating patient needs, and applying critical thinking. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. The position requires patient and caregiver education, effective and professional communication with patients, prioritization of all aspects of patient care, escalation of potential safety hazards or gaps, and utilization of institutional information technology by documenting nursing practice to support quality and performance improvement initiatives. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $46.75 to $55.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care, assess and evaluate patient needs, and apply critical thinking.

Job Requirements:
- BSN degree.
- New York State (NYS) RN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Two years of Urology nursing experience.
- One year of traveler experience.
- Experience in surgical settings with three years of experience.
- Proficient in English (speak, read, write).
- Preferred experience with Epic systems.
