About the Opportunity:
Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) provide essential support in delivering physical therapy services to patients under the guidance of licensed physical therapists. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $33.00 to $39.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical therapy treatments as prescribed by supervising physical therapists.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient strength and mobility.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
- Stay informed on current practices and techniques in physical therapy.
Job Requirements:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in documenting and monitoring patient progress.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
