About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading financial services platform, is seeking an Accounting & Finance Recruiter to join their expanding Talent Acquisition team in New York City. This high-visibility, contract-to-hire position will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for accounting and finance roles supporting client services and corporate teams. The role offers a mix of in-house and agency-style search, pipeline management, and direct partnership with hiring managers.
The base pay for this position is $50 to $55 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and execute the full-cycle recruitment process for accounting, finance, and operations roles—from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding
- Build strong pipelines of specialized candidates through a mix of sourcing channels, networking, and proactive outreach
- Advise hiring managers and interview teams on search strategy, market intelligence, candidate assessment, and compensation trends
- Provide an outstanding candidate experience, articulating the firm’s value proposition and culture
- Maintain accurate recruiting data, ensure process compliance, and generate reports on key search metrics, candidate funnel, time-to-fill, and related indicators
- Support hiring for roles both inside and outside of accounting and finance as needed
- Leverage and maintain ATS (applicant tracking systems); experience with UKG a plus
- Develop and communicate status updates and recruiting reports to leadership and hiring managers
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of full-life cycle recruitment experience, successfully placing accounting and finance talent (in-house and/or agency)
- Demonstrated expertise recruiting Fund Accountants or finance professionals within asset management, private equity, or financial services strongly preferred
- Proven success with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
- Experience maintaining applicant tracking data and using recruiting systems
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong detail orientation, and ability to manage changing priorities
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- High level of motivation, adaptability, and independent problem-solving abilities
