About the Opportunity:
Join our team as an Ophthalmic Technician dedicated to providing exceptional eye care services to patients. In this full-time contract position, you assist ophthalmologists during examinations and surgeries, conduct diagnostic tests, and educate patients on ocular health. Your role includes preparing patients for exams, performing visual acuity tests, and documenting findings.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $30.25 to $35.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic eye assessments and create care plans.
- Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and surgeries.
- Provide patient education on eye health and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and update medical records.

Job Requirements:
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ophthalmology setting.
- Preferred charge experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- BLS certification.
