About the Opportunity:
St. Barnabas Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse specializing in Dialysis to deliver exemplary care to patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions in a hospital environment. This full-time contract position entails working directly with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units. The RN delivers inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis, while ensuring quality patient outcomes and collaborating effectively with hospital teams.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $44.00 to $52.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct dialysis care for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions.
- Provide inpatient therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
- Collaborate with hospital teams in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units.
- Monitor patients, adjust treatments and ensure quality outcomes.
- Support and oversee patient care in collaboration with PCTs.
Job Requirements:
- Current BLS certification and CNN or CDN preferred.
- Experience in acute care dialysis settings.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
