About the Opportunity
This opportunity involves delivering high-quality nursing care to stepdown patients in a hospital setting. The RN integrates assessment and intervention skills in care delivery and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.70 to $61.10 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conducting patient assessments and creating individualized care plans.
- Providing nursing interventions and monitoring patient progress.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Documenting patient care accurately to support quality and performance initiatives.
- Staying informed on evidence-based practices in nursing care and safety.
Job Requirements
- Current NYS RN License.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- BSN degree is required; Associate degree considered with relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiology, telemetry, or with VADs.
- Vent experience mandatory and must be listed on resume.
- EPIC experience highly preferred.
