About the Opportunity:
This is a part-time contract position for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Rutland, VT. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients every weekend. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining accurate patient records. LPNs collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $33.30 to $39.36 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct patient assessments and record vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Stay informed on best practices in patient care and nursing.
Job Requirements:
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Vermont.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must have own transportation due to limited and unreliable public transportation in the area.
