About the Opportunity:
The RN provides high-quality nursing care in a detention center setting. This is a full-time contract position, providing essential healthcare services to the inmate population. The role emphasizes maintaining patient health, administering medications, and responding to emergencies efficiently.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $39.60 to $46.80 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough health assessments and creating appropriate care plans.
- Providing therapeutic interventions and health education to patients.
- Collaborating with physicians, mental health professionals, and other healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and health data accurately.
Job Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
