About the Opportunity:
We currently have an opportunity for a CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services to patients. In this role, you perform CT scans, assist in the administration of contrast media, and collaborate with the radiology team to deliver high-quality care. This is a full-time contract position within a union setting, with a focus on adult and pediatric care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $60.50 to $71.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic CT scans for a range of patient needs, including emergency and outpatient care.
- Provide contrast media injections and assist in monitoring patient reactions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
- Monitor and document patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS).
- Stay informed on radiation safety and latest imaging technology through continuing education.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, with a Graduate degree from an accredited Radiography program.
- Valid NYS license in Radiography and certification by New York State to inject contrast media.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography, with maintenance of continuing education credits.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging, with recent CT experience preferred.
- Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software.
