About the Opportunity:
Join our dedicated team in the Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse (RN) providing urgent care to patients experiencing stroke, sepsis, trauma, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. This full-time contract position involves administering care to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. You engage with specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun to support patient care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.43 to $60.78 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for emergency patients.
- Administer medications and required drips such as Levophed, Neo, Epi, and others.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
- Monitor and document patient progress with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Stay informed on latest emergency nursing practices and protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications.
- Active NY RN license verified by NURSYS report.
- Minimum of 2 years of ED experience with pediatric focus.
- Previous travel nursing experience required.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR systems.
- TNCC certification is required.
- Charge capability is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license matching demographic information.
