About the Opportunity:
This opportunity involves providing outpatient therapy rehabilitation services to patients at a hand clinic. Occupational Therapists conduct evaluations, develop personalized care plans, and implement therapeutic interventions for a diverse range of hand injuries and conditions. They educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.80 to $62.40 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for hand and upper extremity conditions.
- Provide therapy and patient education on adaptive equipment and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and document patient progress using Epic charting.
- Stay informed on hand therapy research and practice advancements.
Job Requirements:
- CA Occupational Therapy License.
- Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT).
- AOTA Hand/UE certification.
- BLS certification from AHA.
- Master’s degree (MS/MA) in Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hand clinic and outpatient setting.
- Experience with dynamic and static splinting, edema massage, and other specialized skills.
