About the Opportunity:
This position requires providing comprehensive emergency care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department. As an ED RN, you conduct assessments, develop care plans, and respond to diverse medical conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.99 to $63.81 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and creating effective care plans.
- Providing emergency medical care and therapy for various conditions like stroke, sepsis, and trauma.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate optimal care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, including response to medications and drips.
- Staying informed on current emergency medicine practices and technology such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
Job Requirements:
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department, including pediatric experience.
- Required travel experience and documentation of such in the resume.
- Knowledge and experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
- Active NY nursing license verified through NURSYS Report.
