About the Opportunity:
Join our dedicated team as a Radiologic Technologist, providing essential imaging services to a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics. This part-time contract position involves conducting diagnostic imaging procedures and working collaboratively within interdisciplinary support teams, such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Radiology.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging assessments and create accurate records.
- Provide quality care and communicate effectively with patients of all age groups.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress within electronic health records.
- Stay informed on advancements in radiologic imaging practices.
Job Requirements:
- Valid NY license; pending licenses and certifications are not acceptable.
- BLS and ARRT certifications required; only AHA accepted.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital setting is required.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with various imaging techniques including portable procedures.
- Experience with EPIC charting systems is preferred.
