About the Opportunity:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technician in Thousand Oaks, CA, provide essential radiology services to adult patients. Engage in conducting nuclear medicine imaging procedures and ensuring radiation safety. Collaborate within a flexible schedule, suited to the needs of the facility. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $68.75 to $81.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures and create patient care plans.
- Administer and document radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate diagnostic care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and imaging results.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends and practices in nuclear medicine.
Job Requirements:
- Valid certifications as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with NMTCB or ARRT.
- Valid licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the Department of Health Services, Radiologic Health Branch, State of California.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology.
- BLS and CPR certification required.
- Skills in drawing venous blood, pharmacological stress tests, and IV management.
