About the Opportunity:
This position involves providing expert care within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, focusing on both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. This full-time contract position demands the ability to float to other UC facilities as required.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) finalize at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct specific assessments and create individualized care plans.
- Provide interventional cardiac catheterization and procedural sedation monitoring.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate effective patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously.
- Stay informed on advancements in cath lab procedures and techniques.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License and BSN required.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory.
- Minimum 1-year cath lab or IR experience needed.
- 3-5 years combined experience in PACU, ICU, CCU, and/or cath lab required.
- 5 years of clinical nursing experience necessary.
- Experience with Epic charting system required.
- Prior travel experience within the last 12 months required.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required, with medical/religious exemptions considered.
- Preferred experience in teaching hospitals.
