About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, providing care for cardiac patients with a focus on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention. The role involves managing both inpatient and outpatient procedures in 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs, catering to adult and pediatric patients. With a comprehensive program for pre and post procedural care, the practice model includes collaboration with CVT staff to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $63.25 to $74.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating care plans for cardiac patients.
- Providing moderate sedation and monitoring patient recovery.
- Collaborating with CVT staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress through telemetry and dysrhythmia checks.
- Staying informed on cardiac interventions and hemodynamic monitoring practices.
Job Requirements:
- Current RN License (NY License ONLY).
- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab Experience.
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
- Moderate sedation trained and telemetry experience.
- Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, cardiac interventions, and mechanical circulatory support systems.
- Familiarity with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and other structural heart procedures.
- Critical care or cardiac experience required.
