About the Opportunity:
The RN, Peds position focuses on providing specialized care to pediatric patients in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment. This full-time contract position involves delivering high-quality care in preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit settings and supporting critical care for pediatric patients. The role offers opportunities to float to other facilities as needed, ensuring a broad range of experience and professional growth.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.35 to $63.05 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive care plans for pediatric patients.
- Provide preoperative and post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care efficiently.
- Monitor and document patient progress systematically to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices in pediatric care and critical care.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN license and BSN are required.
- Certifications in AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in pediatric preoperative/post-anesthesia care and pediatric critical care is required.
- Prior charge experience is preferred.
- Preferred certifications include CCRN, CPAN, and CAPA.
- Strong skills in communication and organization are essential.
