About the Opportunity:
This contract opportunity seeks a Registered Nurse specializing in pediatric perioperative and post-anesthesia care. The role involves providing care for pediatric patients in PreOp, PACU, and pediatric critical care environments. This is a full-time contract position, with shifts available during the day and evening. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to float to other facilities within the network as needed. The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.35 to $63.05 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments and creating individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
- Providing comprehensive perioperative and post-anesthesia care, focusing on the pediatric population.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and responding promptly to changes in patient status.
- Staying informed on the latest pediatric critical care research and practice guidelines.
Job Requirements:
- Valid CA RN license.
- BSN degree.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in pediatric PreOp/PACU and a pediatric critical care setting.
- Teaching hospital experience required.
- Preferred certifications: CCRN, CPAN, CAPA.
