About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position involves providing pediatric care in PreOp/PACU and pediatric critical care settings. The role includes floating to other facilities within the UCSF network as needed. The estimated base pay for these positions is $53.35 to $63.05 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting pediatric assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing care to patients in PreOp/PACU and critical care environments.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
- Staying informed on developments in pediatric critical care.
Job Requirements:
- California RN license.
- BSN degree.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric PreOp/PACU and critical care settings.
- Preferred certifications: CCRN, CPAN, CAPA.
- Experience in teaching hospital environments.
