About the Opportunity:
This part-time contract position as a Surgical Technician involves being an integral member of the multidisciplinary surgical team. The surgical technician acts as a scrub person, preparing and handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during a surgical procedure. The technician understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. Collaborating with other team members to assure quality patient care during the operative procedure is essential. The surgical technician functions under the supervision of a registered nurse and participates in the on-call schedule for afterhours urgent/emergent surgical cases.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $38.36 to $45.34 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting instrument preparation and handling during procedures.

Job Requirements:
- Certification as a Surgical Technician.
