About the Opportunity:
This RN, OR position involves providing specialized surgical care to patients undergoing otolaryngology, craniotomy, oral and maxillofacial, plastic, dental, combined neurosurgery/OHNS, open and endoscopic surgical cases, and free flap reconstructive procedures. The role includes circulating and scrubbing in complex surgeries. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre-operative assessments and creating individualized perioperative care plans.
- Providing intraoperative care and managing surgical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitoring and documenting patient vitals and progress throughout surgical procedures.
- Staying informed on the latest surgical practices and technology applications.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License and BSN.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in OR settings.
- Previous travel assignment experience required.
- Experience in scrub and circulate roles.
- Certification in BLS required, ACLS and CNOR preferred.
- Experience with the Davinci Xi Robot strongly encouraged.
- Proficiency in using Epic charting system.
- Teaching hospital experience required.
