About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in pediatric post-anesthesia care, responsible for caring for patients recovering from procedures involving sedation or anesthesia. This full-time contract position requires the ability to float to other facilities as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.35 to $63.05 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and creating individualized care plans.
- Providing care and monitoring in Phase I and Phase II Recovery.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams such as Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and providing post-operative care instructions.
- Staying informed on the latest practices in pediatric anesthetic recovery and safety.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License.
- BSN degree.
- AHA BLS and PALS certifications.
- Experience in inpatient pediatrics, PACU, and trauma level I settings preferred.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system.
- Skills in airway assessment, central line care, and conscious sedation required.
