About the Opportunity:
The position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages at a hospital setting in Ketchikan, AK. This full-time contract position involves conducting general OR cases, supporting the OB department, and providing emergency department support. The physician manages inpatient services and handles occasional A-line and central line procedures, with additional responsibilities including after-hours hospital call during weekdays and weekends.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $248.19 to $293.31 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct general OR cases and support the OB department.
- Provide emergency department support.
- Perform occasional A-line and central line procedures.
- Participate in after-hours call coverage.
- Ensure timely documentation and patient progress monitoring.
Job Requirements:
- Hold an active AK license.
- Hold BLS, SCLS, PALS certifications, with desired NRP and ATLS.
- Have required clinical activity in the last 24 months (case logs).
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
