About the Opportunity:
The Supply Chain Equipment Tech provides non-clinical support in transportation and logistics, focusing on supply chain operations at the hospital. This full-time contract position involves processing and distributing supplies and equipment across different hospital departments during the 23:00 to 07:30 shift.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $11.30 to $13.35 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process and distribute supplies and equipment to various hospital departments.
- Receive materials, equipment, and supplies delivered to the receiving area.
- Inspect bills of lading and visually inspect incoming shipments.
- Maintain supply and equipment par levels.
- Restock and rotate supplies.
- Decontaminate reusable medical supplies and equipment.
- Assist with inventory processes and cycle counts.
- Process and deliver special requests.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in assigned areas.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping/receiving, materials management, stocking, or a related distribution environment.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
