About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading ambulatory surgery center and multi-site health center committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across their facilities located in Boulder, Colorado. They are seeking an experienced CEO/Administrator to lead their organization, ensuring superior patient care and effective management across all sites.
The CEO/Administrator will oversee the strategic and operational leadership of their ambulatory surgery center and multi-site health center. This role requires a seasoned leader with at least 2 years of experience in healthcare management. The CEO/Administrator will be responsible for driving organizational performance, enhancing patient care quality, and ensuring financial sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of healthcare operations and a proven ability to lead a dynamic healthcare organization.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $155,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall strategic plan for the organization, aligning with the mission, vision, and goals
- Provide visionary leadership to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the ambulatory surgery center and multiple health center sites
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of clinical and administrative staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial stability and growth
- Analyze financial statements, operational data, and key performance indicators to make informed decisions
- Identify opportunities for cost containment, revenue enhancement, and resource optimization
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across all sites
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Oversee risk management and patient safety programs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and the community
- Represent the organization in community and professional forums
- Engage with regulatory agencies, payers, and other key stakeholders to advocate for the organization’s interests
- Recruit, retain, and develop a skilled and motivated workforce
- Implement effective performance management and staff development programs
- Lead the adoption of innovative technologies and practices to improve operational efficiency and patient care
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of electronic health records (EHR) and other health IT systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within an ambulatory surgery center or multi-site health center
- Proficient in financial management and data-driven decision-making
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements
