About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading global investment management firm in search of a temporary Colleague Experience Associate to join their team in Greenwich, Connecticut! The right individual in the role will handle the HR Operations worksteam of their Colleague Experience department and facilitate all HR processes across key aspects of the colleague lifecycle. This is an excellent contract position with great potential for conversion to perm!
The base pay for this position is $81 to $110 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the HR onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new colleagues
- Complete the “new colleague accounting form” for each new business professional colleague to ensure the Management Accounting team has timing and amount of any bonuses and special payments
- Facilitate the first day orientation session for each new colleague to acclimate them to company processes and benefits
- Build the new colleague’s profile by posting their welcome announcement on the intranet and their bio in the corporate directory.
- Manage the bi-monthly payroll process in the USA and Canada, and monthly payroll process for UK and Dubai
- Collect, review and enter overtime for non-exempt colleagues
- Enter reimbursements for colleagues in payroll systems (TriNet for USA and Canada, APEX for UK, and N&N for Dubai
- Review, approve and enter referral bonuses for colleagues (ensuring requests align with our policy)
- Enter sign-on bonuses and other special payments including deferral buy outs for new colleagues
- Process bonuses and salary increases as part of the annual compensation cycle
- Act as the single point of contact for benefits questions, supporting colleagues through key benefits processes )e.g. parental leave, FMLA, etc.)
- Manage non-insurance benefits for colleagues (e.g. personal trainer, gym membership, Cycle Scheme, etc.)
- Manage and maintain colleague data, including: HR Master File; individual colleague folders, TriNet
- Be responsible for ensuring each of the three colleague data warehouses are up-to-date on a daily basis with key information and documentation
- Create and send monthly active colleague report
- Distribute and maintain monthly “ship list” report, providing key departments with the appropriate addresses for the distribution of company SWAG
- Manage all requests for employment verifications
- Manage the offboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for our departing colleagues
- Oversee visa and citizenship process for US and UK-based colleagues
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR – preferably out of Financial Services
- Bachelors degree
- Experience with Payroll, Benefits, and Onboarding
- Experience using TriNet its a huge plus
