About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Infusion Nurse Practitioner Manager to lead our client’s infusion services team in Teaneck, NJ. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of infusion therapy, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing the day-to-day operations of the infusion clinic. As a key leader, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, implement best practices, and contribute to the growth and success of their infusion services.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to a team of infusion nurse practitioners
- Ensure adherence to established clinical protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement evidence-based infusion therapy practices
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the infusion clinic, including scheduling, staffing, and resource management
- Implement and optimize workflows to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Monitor and manage inventory of infusion supplies and medications
- Recruit, train, and mentor infusion nurse practitioners, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure the delivery of safe and effective infusion therapy
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, addressing any issues related to patient care and safety
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, pharmacists, and other team members to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams regarding treatment plans and outcomes
Job Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner program)
- Current state Nurse Practitioner license and national certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Extensive experience in infusion therapy, with a strong background in managing complex patients
- Leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
