About the Opportunity:
Electrophysiology Technologists engage in providing specialized electrophysiology services to patients within the Radiology and Cardiology departments. This full-time contract position encompasses duties in assisting with electrophysiology procedures, handling EP Lab devices, and leveraging extensive clinical judgment for cardiac care. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $63.80 to $75.40 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting electrophysiological assessments and creating corresponding care plans.
- Providing assistance in electrophysiology therapy and education.
- Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patients' electrophysiological progress.
- Staying informed on the latest research and practice in cardiac electrophysiology.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular technology, or equivalent education.
- RCES Credential or IBHRE Certification or RCIS Certification preferred; RCES strongly preferred.
- BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrophysiology lab setting.
- Expertise with EP Lab devices, equipment, and hemodynamics knowledge.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system preferred.
