About the Opportunity:
Join our healthcare team as a Nurse Anesthetist in the CRNA Float Pool, providing comprehensive anesthesiology care across 20 operating rooms and 5 NORA locations. This full-time contract position covers procedures in general, ortho, gyn, ENT/eyes, vascular, thoracic, heart, neuro, and trauma. The role requires adaptability to float across different facilities, mainly focusing on Moses Cone.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $154.00 to $182.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and create individualized anesthetic care plans.
- Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures including neuro and vascular surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Stay informed on the latest practices and research in anesthesiology and patient care standards.
Job Requirements:
- CRNA Board Certification.
- State of North Carolina license required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in anesthesiology settings; no new graduates.
- Certification in ACLS and PALS required.
- Preferred skills in handling hearts, vascular, neuro, and pediatric cases.
