About the Opportunity:
The Nurse Anesthetist, CRNA Float Pool role provides anesthesiology services for various surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, gynecological, ENT/eye, vascular, thoracic, heart, neuro, and trauma cases. Providers float between multiple locations with Moses Cone as the main site. This is a full-time and part-time contract position, with part-time providers working at least two weeks per month or two shifts per week. The schedule operates from 7A to 3P. Providers must have the ability to float and handle a patient load of 60+ cases per day across all age groups.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $154.00 to $182.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting anesthesia assessments and creating appropriate care plans.
- Providing anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties.
- Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress throughout the surgical care process.
- Staying informed on advancements in anesthesiology practices and technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- State of North Carolina license required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in anesthesiology (No new graduates).
- ACLS & PALS certification required.
- Experience with hearts, vascular, neuro, and pediatric cases preferred.
