About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for a Physician in Family Medicine, based in an urgent care setting. The role involves providing primary care to patients, primarily adults and geriatric population, with a typical patient volume of 15 to 18 per day from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities include performing procedures such as PAPs, cryo, punch biopsies, simple wound care, and prescribing birth control. Use of the NextGen EMR system is expected.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $120.18 to $142.03 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Providing minor surgical procedures and preventive care treatments.
- Collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress within the electronic medical record system.
Job Requirements:
- MD qualification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Must be Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE).
- Valid medical license in CA or through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
