About the Opportunity:
This contract position seeks a physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology to provide comprehensive outpatient care. Responsibilities include conducting initial and routine OB visits, postpartum care, and office-based procedures such as IUD placement, nexplanon insertions, and biopsy procedures. The successful candidate handles a range of patient concerns from UTIs to menopause-related issues in adolescents and geriatrics. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $146.30 to $172.90 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting confirmation of pregnancy assessments with bedside ultrasound.
- Providing initial, routine, and postpartum OB visits.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and office procedures.
- Performing procedures such as IUD/Nexplanon insertion and LEEP.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN.
- Unrestricted CA medical license.
- 2+ years of experience in relevant outpatient settings.
- DEA certification and BLS or ACLS certification.
- Completion of an accredited 4-year OB/GYN residency program.
- Epic experience required.
