About the Opportunity:
We have an urgent need for a contract Physician in Gastroenterology with expertise in ERCP to provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This full-time contract role involves participating in rounding and admissions while working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary practice comprising other Gastroenterologists and support staff. Responsibilities encompass a mix of clinic duties with an average of 16 patients per day and management of variable hospital census. The position requires active engagement in procedures such as ERCP and other gastroenterology-specific interventions.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $340.56 to $402.48 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting gastroenterological assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing ERCP and related gastroenterology procedures.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress accurately.
Job Requirements:
- MD/DO with board certification in Gastroenterology.
- Active Washington state license or eligibility through IMLC.
- ACLS certification.
- Minimum experience with at least 50 successful ERCP procedures in past 2 years.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR system.
