About the Opportunity:
This contract opportunity involves providing comprehensive gastroenterology care to adult patients, aged 18 and over, in both clinic and hospital environments. The physician delivers care by conducting consultations, procedures, and rounding for both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a full-time contract position, requiring 24-hour call consulting. The work includes collaborating with another Gastroenterology MD in the practice and handling an average of 16 patients per day in the clinic and 14-16 in the outpatient endoscopy center.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $340.56 to $402.48 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting gastroenterological assessments and creating targeted care plans.
- Providing inpatient and outpatient gastrointestinal procedures and consultations.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress in the hospital and clinic settings.
- Staying informed on the latest gastroenterological research and practices.
Job Requirements:
- MD or DO degree required, with necessary board certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical gastroenterology setting.
- Epic EMR proficiency required.
- Current or pending Washington state medical license required.
