About the Opportunity:
This contract opportunity for a Physician in Bellingham, WA involves providing cardiology care in both hospital and clinic settings. The role encompasses general cardiology and electrophysiology, where responsibilities include rounding, admissions, and conducting a full spectrum of procedures from pacemakers to ablations. This is a part-time contract position that demands hospital privileges for both general cardiology and electrophysiology.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $221.02 to $261.20 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cardiology assessments and procedures, including cardioversions and TEE's.
- Provide treatment and management of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
- Collaborate with advanced practice clinicians and support staff for effective patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
- Stay informed on advancements and guidelines in cardiology practice.
Job Requirements:
- MD/DO degree with WA state license or eligibility for IMLC.
- Board certification in Cardiology; experience in electrophysiology preferred.
- Minimum two years of recent clinical activity in cardiovascular disease services.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
- Proficient in using EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
