About the Opportunity:
This position provides comprehensive cardiology care to patients in both hospital and clinic settings, covering both General and Electrophysiology (EP) aspects. As a physician, responsibilities include conducting rounding and admissions, performing procedures such as cardioversions and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and handling EP cases involving pacemakers and ablations. This is a part-time contract position designed to address gaps in coverage.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $223.34 to $263.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans.
- Provide both General and EP cardiology procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
- Stay informed on advancements in cardiology practice and research.
Job Requirements:
- MD or DO degree with specialization in Cardiology.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiology settings.
- Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and ARNP.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington state; IMLC accepted.
