About the Opportunity:
This contract position involves providing pathology services, handling approximately 140 cases a day of all types, excluding autopsies. The role includes managing frozen specimens and a robust Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) Interventional Radiology (IR) schedule. This is a full-time contract position, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no call responsibilities.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $178.75 to $211.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting pathology assessments and creating care plans for patients.
- Providing diagnostic evaluations using frozen specimens and FNA (IR) procedures.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient cases and developments.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant certifications or degrees in pathology.
- Minimum years of experience in a similar medical or clinical setting is preferred.
