About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse (RN) providing specialized care to adult patients during cardiac surgical procedures. This full-time contract position involves working closely with cardiac and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.57 to $66.85 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery.
- Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care and education related to cardiovascular procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress during surgical procedures and recovery.
- Stay informed on best practices and advances in cardiovascular surgical nursing.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate's degree.
- Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- 1+ years of experience required in cardiovascular operating room settings.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
- Experience with EPIC and Omnicell technology preferred.
