About the Opportunity:
This opportunity involves providing neonatal intensive care to patients in a NICU setting as a Registered Nurse in Oakland, CA. The focus includes supporting neonates in level 3 and 4 NICU environments. This is a full-time contract position offering 12-hour night shifts.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.70 to $61.10 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for NICU patients.
- Provide specialized neonatal care, including developmental care and ventilator management.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as neonatologists and pediatricians to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, focusing on neonate safety and health outcomes.
- Stay informed on neonatal care practices and research to enhance patient care.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License.
- Certifications in AHA BLS, PALS, and NRP.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in level 3 and 4 NICU settings.
- Experience with PICU is required.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
