About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract opportunity involves providing exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures including Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Craniotomy, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Dental Surgery, combined Neurosurgery/OHNS, as well as open and endoscopic surgical cases and free flap reconstructive procedures. Nurses in this role operate in an 8-hour day shift capacity, with the flexibility to float to other facilities as required.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre- and post-operative assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing patient education regarding surgical procedures.
- Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress during surgical procedures.
- Staying informed on advancements related to surgical procedures and instruments like the Davinci Xi robot.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License, BSN, and AHA BLS certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar setting with scrub and circulate expertise required.
- Previous travel assignment experience preferred.
- Preferred certifications: CNOR and ACLS.
