About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to provide exceptional surgical care. This position handles a range of procedures including Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Craniotomy, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Dental Surgery, and Combined Neurosurgery/OHNS procedures. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for surgical patients.
- Provide assistance during surgical procedures, including scrub and circulate duties.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress intraoperatively.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements and practices in surgical care.
Job Requirements:
- Valid CA RN License and BSN degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the OR setting required.
- Previous travel assignment experience preferred.
- Ability to scrub and circulate in surgeries.
- CNOR and ACLS certifications preferred.
