About the Opportunity:
This part-time contract opportunity seeks a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room (OR) responsible for handling Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS), Craniotomy procedures, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS), Plastic Surgery, and Dental Surgery. Combined neurosurgery/OHNS procedures, open and endoscopic surgical cases, and free flap reconstructive procedures form part of the care provided. Shifts include 8-hour days starting at 7 am or 11 am, with the possibility to float to other facilities.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating care plans for surgical procedures.
- Providing care during surgical operations including various specialized procedures.
- Collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to coordinate surgical care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress during and after surgery.
- Staying informed on surgical research and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Current CA RN License and BSN.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant surgical settings.
- Previous travel assignment experience required.
- Scrub and circulate experience required.
- Preferred experience includes CNOR certification and ACLS.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system and experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
- Previous charge experience required.
