About the Opportunity:
This position involves providing specialized pain management care to patients in an outpatient pain clinic. As a Registered Nurse, you conduct various procedures, including epidurals, peripheral nerve blocks, and infusions, using advanced techniques and equipment such as fluoroscopy and radiofrequency ablation machines. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $45.65 to $53.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for pain management.
- Provide various therapies, including epidural analgesia and nerve blocks.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams such as radiology and pharmacy to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and manage pain management procedures.
- Stay informed on the latest practices and research in pain management.
Job Requirements:
- Current CA RN license.
- Certifications in AHA BLS & ACLS.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in acute care settings.
- Ability to float to other facilities within the health network.
- Preferred experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinic settings.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Teaching hospital experience.
