About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a locum tenens Physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology at our Health and Wellness Pavilion. This opportunity involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients, including office-based procedures such as biopsies, IUD placement, Nexplanon insertion, and more. Physicians in this role manage a patient mix ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. This is a full-time contract position with the potential for extension.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $146.30 to $172.90 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting confirmation of pregnancy assessments with bedside ultrasound.
- Providing routine OB visits and postpartum care.
- Collaborating with midwives and other healthcare professionals regarding high-risk deliveries or c-sections.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
- Staying informed on current OB/GYN research and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Unrestricted CA license.
- DEA registration and either BLS or ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an OB/GYN setting.
- Completion of an accredited 4-year OB/GYN residency program.
- Epic experience highly preferred.
