About the Opportunity
The role of an Echo Technologist involves providing echocardiographic services to patients. This is a full-time contract position from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, for a 9-week assignment. The technologist performs echocardiograms on pediatric patients and collaborates with medical and nursing staff to address patient problems. The technologist is also responsible for recognizing and troubleshooting equipment issues.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $62.70 to $74.10 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conducting echocardiograms on pediatric patients and creating detailed reports.
- Providing technical support and education about echocardiogram procedures.
- Collaborating with physicians and nurses to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting equipment functionality and patient responses.
- Staying informed on the latest echocardiographic technology and practices.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED and completion of an approved Echocardiogram Training Program.
- Possession of Echocardiography CCI or ARMS (Echo) Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech I, including pediatric experience.
- Basic clerical skills and problem-solving abilities related to equipment and patient care.
