About the Opportunity:
The position involves providing echocardiographic services to patients in a community hospital setting. This full-time contract position requires conducting echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients, utilizing state-of-the-art GE equipment. The work schedule includes every third weekend with on-call responsibilities Monday through Sunday every other week.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct echocardiographic assessments and create care plans.
- Provide imaging services, including 2-D, 3-D Echo, and Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams, including IV and Respiratory Services.
- Monitor and document patient progress using Epic charting systems.
- Stay informed on the latest echocardiography research and techniques.
Job Requirements:
- Certification with ARDMS and BLS.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult and pediatric echocardiography.
- Community hospital experience required; LTAC and trauma level experience preferred.
- Proficiency with GE equipment and Epic charting system.
