About the Opportunity:
Provide oncology care to patients, including administering chemotherapy treatment, monitoring patient responses, and education on oncology care protocols. This is a full-time contract position at the UCLA Hematology Oncology Porter Ranch with a Monday-Friday schedule, 08:00-17:00, including a 30-minute lunch break.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct oncology assessments and craft individualized care plans.
- Provide chemotherapy and other oncology-related therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate documentation using Epic.
- Stay informed on the latest oncology research and treatment practices.
Job Requirements:
- BSN required with 2-3 years of outpatient oncology experience.
- Current BLS AHA and ONS certifications.
- Skills in accessing/managing ports, chemotherapy administration, and patient education.
- Charting experience with Epic.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Travel experience required.
