About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position for a Nuclear Medical Technician involves performing nuclear medicine procedures and ensuring patient safety during these processes. Responsibilities include accurately conducting tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, managing radioactive materials safely, and maintaining detailed records of patient treatments and test results. Collaboration with other hospital departments ensures comprehensive patient care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $74.25 to $87.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct nuclear medicine procedures and create detailed care plans.
- Provide accurate diagnostics and maintain safety protocols with radioactive materials.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV and respiratory services.
- Monitor, document patient progress, and report findings to physicians.
- Stay informed on the latest nuclear medicine practices and technologies.
Job Requirements:
- CTNM: NMTCB or ARRT (N), CA Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine license.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine settings.
- Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Med Training program.
- Charting System Experience: Required, particularly with Epic.
- BLS and CNMT certifications; ACLS and CT license preferred.
