About the Opportunity:
Quality Management Specialist provides remote support to healthcare institutions, focusing on quality and patient safety. This role serves as a subject matter expert in quality assurance program advisement within hospital settings, developing and improving programs to maintain quality and patient safety standards. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for internal departments on quality and patient safety priorities.
- Collaborate with departments to provide performance improvement guidance and fulfill QAPI standards.
- Conduct research, collect and analyze data for decision-making.
- Work with internal clinical department leaders to ensure quality compliance.
- Facilitate process improvement initiatives using tools such as Lean, PDCA, and FMEA.
- Monitor and validate data to ensure tracking towards quality and patient safety goals.
- Present findings and collaborate on benchmarks and best practices with management.
- Respond to regulatory surveys and facilitate communication with external regulators.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a healthcare-related position, preferably in quality and performance improvement.
- Advanced Microsoft applications skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Familiarity with quality and performance improvement methods.
